We are looking for individuals that already have an area of focus in user experience or interface design.
Applicants should play to their strengths using a portfolio, their knowledge and /or a cover letter to the studio when applying.
You have a basic understanding of the principles of UX – You're also interested in learning different ways that UX pro's hypothesize and validate their way to making better products. You read a lot. And you're not afraid to make a bad drawing, on paper or on a whiteboard.
You have a keen eye for detail. You've heard of a pattern library and know what its good for. You are already well versed in methods to create low-fidelity or high-fidelity wireframes all the way through to finished interface mockups.
This internship will be an unpaid slot for 3 to 4 weeks depending on the candidate's availability. AUX Studio has an ongoing interest in skills transfer programs and getting fresh perspectives in the UX team. We have a paid position opening in early 2018 and this internship opportunity is a great way to get hired.
You'll be required to sign a confidentiality agreement as we work on products that are not part of the public domain.
Activities: Participating in workshops, producing wireframe mockups, finished designs, user-flows and creative input.
